Coffee latte art is a handmade craft of making patterns on original cappuccino or latte. After a long period of development and evolution, coffee latte art is not only visually exquisite, it has also been continuously improved in terms of the dense taste of milk and the methods and techniques of fusion, thereby achieving the so-called color, aroma, and taste in the presentation of the overall taste. A state of complete taste.
The dynamic picture below shows how to DIY Totoro Latte Art. If you have a chance to drink coffee, you must try it. It is very fun and interesting~~~
1. Production of milk foam
1. Pour the milk into the milk frother. The amount should not exceed 1/2 of the milk frother. Otherwise, the milk will expand and overflow when making milk froth.
2. Heat the milk to about 60 degrees, but not more than 70 degrees, otherwise the protein structure in the milk will be destroyed. Note! The lid and filter cannot be heated directly. (If making ice milk froth, cool the milk to below 5 degrees. Of course, don’t over-ice and let the milk freeze.)
3. Put the lid and filter on, and quickly twitch the filter to press the air into the milk. You don’t need to press it all the way when you twitch, because you want to push the air into the milk, so just move on the surface of the milk. The number of times does not need to be too many, just gently twitch about thirty times.
4. Remove the lid and filter, use a spoon to scrape off the thick milk foam on the surface, leaving behind dense hot (ice) milk foam.
2. Latte art method
1. When brewing Espresso, it is recommended to pour the Espresso directly into the required cup. Then froth the milk. If there is thick milk froth floating on the surface, please remove it. 2. Slowly pour the foamed milk into the freshly prepared Espresso. When the poured milk foam and Espresso have been fully mixed, the surface will appear thick, and this is the time to start drawing flowers (usually the cup is half full at this time).
3. The initial movement of latte art is to shake the wrist holding the latte art cup from left to right. The key point is to steadily make the wrist swing back and forth horizontally. Please note that this movement only requires the strength of the wrist, not the entire arm. When shaken correctly, white zigzag milk foam marks will begin to appear in the cup.
4. Gradually move the flower cup backwards and reduce the shaking amplitude. Finally, when closing the cup, draw a thin straight line forward and draw the stem of the leaf in the cup as the end.
