This article is a contribution by "Lin Lin Guoqiang" on the Craftsman website. He made a beautiful succulent photo frame by hand. He was inspired by the idea of ??transplanting real succulents into the picture frame. He has shared his craftsmanship before. If you are interested, you can check it out [here]. More observation and more brain use can always bring about refreshing works. Let’s learn the production process together (there are so few clay steps O__O "…)~
If you don’t have time to grow flowers, but you are also interested in cute and lazy succulents, you might as well make a cute little succulent in a photo frame.
1. Think about how big of a photo frame you need. The photo frame in this tutorial is about 10cmx13cm. First cut the bottom board according to the actual size required (basswood board, other boards are also acceptable)
2. Photo frame material: Bamboo skewers (to cut bamboo skewers, you can use a handmade knife to circle around it and then open it and then cut the inside flat to make it faster)
3. Cut the corresponding length of bamboo sticks according to the size of the original floor. (Note: It is best for the joint of the bamboo sticks to intersect at 45° between the two bamboo sticks, that is, cut the two ends of the bamboo sticks at 45 degrees) Surround the four bamboo skewers without gluing them to the base.
4. As shown in the picture, keep encircling the rectangle
Overlay them to create a photo frame effect
A total of four layers are glued. The numbers of rectangles are: first layer (three), second layer (two), third layer (one), the fourth floor (two, containing wooden boards). The final layer surrounds and glues the baseboard.
5. The inspiration that came to my mind when I saw the straw on the trash can when I was at a loss
Coupled with the discarded wood materials, as shown in the picture, it can be assembled to have a moving effect behind the photo frame
6. How to make succulents, material: clay
The process was so intoxicating that only one picture remained. It was roughly based on the succulent shape of the Baidu picture. Use resin clay of various colors to make a small circle, flatten one side and then surround it. The simplest one is a long succulent shape.
End.
