"Zodiac Animal Heads" is the first large-scale public sculpture by Chinese contemporary artist Ai Weiwei. He reinterpreted these twelve bronze animal heads: together they represent the twelve traditional Chinese zodiac animals and once adorned the Yuanmingyuan, the famous royal garden of the Qing Dynasty.
