This is a polymer clay tutorial to help you make a beautiful and elegant angel. We'll also use recycled materials to make the lower half and add light fixtures inside.
In the process of making this angel, the most difficult thing was carving the details of her face. If you don’t play polymer clay often, it may take several attempts to satisfy yourself, so please be patient!~
This is the effect after turning on the lights at night.
Videos and illustrations are provided. It is recommended that you quickly watch the entire video production process first.

1. Make the head with aluminum foil.
2. Then wrap it with clay.
3. To sculpt facial features, it helps to have reference photos on hand.
4. First draw the positions of the eyes, nose and mouth on the face.
5. Then fill in the features of the face and add small pieces of clay.
6. To make eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks and chin.
7. This is the step that most tests your skills and patience.
8. Make the face like this.
9. Continue adding clay to the top of the head and back to make the head full.
10. To make polymer clay smooth, brush on some rubbing alcohol as a mild solvent.
Then place in the oven at 110 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. When the temperature cools down, add more clay to the top and back of the head, which can then be brushed with liquid polymer clay to stick to.
11. Use aluminum wire again to make the skeleton of the torso and upper limbs.
12. Then wrap it in aluminum foil.
13. Then add clay, starting with the torso.
14. Similar to the head, it also needs to be baked in the oven. Then continue adding clay.
15. Add a wire to the neck.
16. Then insert the neck, making sure the seam is smooth.
17. Install the head again.
18. For the hands, first make a rectangular flat piece.
19. Then cut with a knife to form four fingers.
20. Then add the thumb.
21. Adjust the curvature of your fingers to create a sense of movement. Then place your hands on your forearms, cut the middle of your palms and wrap them around your wrists.
22. Use acrylic paint to color the body. Its best to apply color in layers to avoid brush marks.
23. Make hair from wool and glue it to a piece of wax paper with craft glue.
24. Let it dry completely, then remove it from the paper and glue it to your head starting from the nape of your neck and working your way up.
25. The hairstyle seen from the front after completion.
26. Also use wires to make the skeleton of the wings.
27. Then use a glue gun to glue the wings made of synthetic fur to the frame.
28. Use craft glue to hide seams.
29. Use an electric drill or awl to make 2 holes on the back, then insert the wings and fix them with resin.
30. For the base, use a plastic bottle. Cut the bottom of it off with a knife and tape the cut portion to avoid cutting yourself while using tape to attach the LED light to the bottle.
31. Add glue to the bottle.
32. First paste fluffy cotton or similar fabric.
33. Then put the white tulle and stuff the top part of the tulle into the mouth of the bottle.
34. Use epoxy to attach the torso to the skirt, then glue a piece of fabric to the waist to act as a belt.
35. Finally, stick the LED light to the inner wall of the bottle with tape.
36. The polymer clay angel lighting has been completed! Although it is a bit troublesome to make, but when I see the final work, I feel that everything is worth it~
