We used recycled materials to make a pirate ship, but you can make any type of ship this way. All you need is a waterproof packing box, a balloon to propel the boat, and some material for the sail!~
Materials and tools: juice boxes, straws, cling film tubes/rolling paper tubes, balloons, bottle caps, safety nails, knives and scissors, etc.
First cut the juice box into the shape of a pirate ship. Follow the cutting lines as shown in the picture.
First punch a hole in the top of the juice box, then fold it into the shape of the bow.
To create seats for the pirate ship, fold inwards as shown by the dotted lines in the image.
To create the "boating holes," use an awl to punch a hole in the center of four bottle caps.
Punch two holes on each side of the boat and use plastic pegs to attach the bottle cap to the juice box.
Cut the paper tube in half and then shorten it. You will need three sails. Use the tip of an awl to punch two holes in each sail.
Now you can use the straw to go through the holes.
Use an awl to punch holes in the bottom of the ice cream cup and in the center of the lid.
Place the lid on the bottom of the ice cream cup.
Attach the observation tower to the top of one of the straws.
Install the foresail and mizzen sail to the boat.
Attach the balloon to the back of the ship - the balloon will be used to propel the ship, now your pirate ship is ready~
