If you want to do something with those cardboard packaging boxes, try making a toy car! Use rubber bands to make a power system for it, and it will have the same effect as the pull-back car we bought! Materials Tools: rubber bands, waste paper boxes, tape, glue, scissors and two pencils!~
From the waste paper box out, the smaller the better.
Cut the box in half and tape all seams from the inside out.
Drill holes in the front and back of the lower part of the box. These holes should be slightly larger than the diameter of the pencil so that the pencil can rotate freely.
Cut four wheels from cardboard, about 4 inches in diameter. Larger wheels will help the car cover greater distances.
Insert the pencil into the hole, making sure it can turn freely.
Cut two "V" shaped notches on the front of the car. The square in the middle needs to be large and sturdy because it will hold one end of the rubber band.
Insert one wheel onto the pencil, then the other wheel.
Do the same thing to the front of the car. Now, apply glue to the pencil (next to the cardboard wheel), slide the wheel over the glue and wait for the glue to dry.
Attach one or more rubber bands and place one end over the notch on the front of the car and the other end in the middle of the pencil at the back.
Then turn the pencil to roll up the rubber band, release the rear wheels, and the car will start running~
