This article is a contribution from the 14gz Department of Art and Design, College of Engineering and Technology, Hubei University of Technology, on the Handicraft Network. The authors are Yang Tong, Chen Wenjie, Ma Junchao and Liu Lingling. Creating mini furniture at a scale of 1:75 is their graduation project that took several months of hard work to complete.
This is a graduation project. Because I don’t want to just give it a grade as an assignment, I want to make it a souvenir, so I submitted it to the Craftwork Network~~ We use models to present three different periods in Europe. The interior environment is purely handcrafted with furniture from three periods.
In order to show the uniqueness of our works, our furniture shapes, floral patterns, and indoor soft furnishings are all original and handmade, and the proportions are also unprecedented on the market.
Because the production took two months, although it took a long time, most of the time we were wearing smocks with sawdust on our hands and heads. Sometimes we were so selfless while doing it that we couldn't take pictures in time, so we only had partial process pictures~
p>Furniture patterns: Extract materials from relevant periods for pattern design.
Basic drawings of some furniture.
After the production is completed, the putty powder is filled in and polished, and then the painting begins.
When the paint is dry, we start to sew and patch up the soft furnishings of the room.
After a period of time the furniture has been basically completed.
The next process is the placement of furniture. Due to size reasons, we can only order the exterior walls, floors, and carpets online. The finished product picture will be uploaded directly~
