An illustrated tutorial for making roses from paper vines. Unfold the colored paper vines to get paper, and then make flowers based on it. The steps are not complicated. Let’s first take a look at a set of paper vine flower works, paired with beautiful vases, the paper-cutting is incredibly beautiful~
Hyacinth flowers made of paper cane.
Carnation flowers made of paper vine.
Paper rattan flowers have various shapes, rich colors, and a strong three-dimensional effect.
It is also natural, environmentally friendly and easy to preserve.
Material preparation for paper vine rose: paper vine (light pink for petals, green for calyx and leaves), thick wire (flower stem), thin wire (leaf stem).
First take apart the paper vine.
Spread evenly.
Get the petal template ready.
Fold the paper vine into 7 pieces, making sure the top, bottom, left and right are basically symmetrical.
Cut the template close to the edge.
Change the direction and cut again. A total of 14 petals should be cut out.
Cut petals.
Find a piece of paper like this from scraps to make a flower core.
With the help of tools.
Roll it tightly inward, almost in a circle.
Push the paper in, push it hard.
Turn the petals over and do the same with the other side.
Rolled petals.
Unfold the edge you just rolled.
All 14 petals are treated in this way.
Use a napkin to start making the flower core.
Fold half of the napkin in half, in half, and then in half again, and apply white glue on one end (fold the long side, not the short one).
Wrap the glued end around the thick wire and roll it into a circle.
Continue rolling.
Roll it up into a flowery shape like the picture above.
Apply glue to the upper end.
Take out the scraps.
Wrap the upper end of the flower core without leaving any white.
Put glue on this position of the petals and start attaching the petals.
Pay attention to the intersection of petals, and the upper part of the flower core to be closed as much as possible, and the lower end to be pinched tightly.
On the second layer, paste 3 petals to ensure that the petals are crossed and evenly dispersed, and there is no big height difference with the first layer of petals~
The third layer, 4 petals, approximately square, pay attention to the first few points.
Layer 4, 5 petals, this is the outermost layer of the rose, approximately in the shape of a regular pentagon.
Take another napkin.
Fold it in half and then three times, then cut one into two, we only need half.
Wrap a circle around the lower end of the flower, as a filling for the calyx.
Put the calyx template on the paper vine and cut it.
Apply glue.
Wrap it up, covering all the white napkins. Then roll the small tip of the calyx.
Make the leaves in the same way.
Thin wire serves as leaf stem.
Cut 2 leaves, apply glue on one of them, put a thin wire in the middle, and attach the other leaf, and a small leaf is completed.
Seal it with green special tape and insert leaves.
The paper vine roses are finished, they are no worse than the origami Kawasaki roses!~
