"Sweet Millonaire"
The work is named Sweet Millonaire is an interesting concept in itself.
"Sweet" means "sweetness", which refers to the sweet experience of taste buds. Sweetness is myIt is the taste that we first accept and pursue after birth; the second refers to spiritual pleasure, expressing the sustenance of happiness and satisfaction, with human warmth and emotion.
"Millonaire" translates as "monopoly", symbolizing the satisfaction of having wealth. The German philosopher Immanuel Kant believed: "Happiness satisfies our needs." Although satisfaction is an immeasurable abstract concept and varies from person to person, this "sweet temptation" subverts Paper money - Cognitive habits of wealth symbols. "Millonaire" is an adverb of degree, quantifying the satisfaction, pleasure and happiness brought by food. This opens up a new direction for people to think about the relationship between spiritual happiness and material satisfaction: handle the relationship between people and things, be willing to enjoy limited wealth, and be content with what you have.

Polyphase Studio

Established in 2006 In Beijing, there are four partners, namely: Chen Long, Hu Xian, Jia Lina, and Lu Xiang.
We like to observe and think practically in life, and daily life is the source of our design impulses.
We are interested in discovering the generative mechanisms behind things, rather than just being satisfied with their superficial understanding. We approach every design process as a journey of discovery. A discovery based on extensive analysis and a solution based on step-by-step research.
We emphasize "appropriate", which is more valuable to us than "new" and "odd".
We emphasize "understanding" rather than just "seeing", and try to "build understanding" to combat the common problem in the Chinese design community today - "abuse of style".

"Cutting the Cake"
Cutting the cake is a very important part of eating the cake. How to turn "cake cutting" into a fun event?
There is a famous sequence in mathematics called the "cake-cutting sequence", which is the quick number of how to cut the cake into the most vertically (no horizontal cuts) with the least number of knives (not curves). For example, 1 knife can be cut into 2 pieces, 2 knives can be cut into 4 pieces, 3 knives can be cut into 7 pieces, and 4 knives can be cut into 11 pieces. Therefore, the number of cake cuts is: 2, 4, 7, 11, 16, 22, 29, 37, 46, 56, 67...
So there is such a cake: there are 16 dark dots on the light-colored cake. You can only use 5 knives at most to cut this cake into 16 pieces. piece. Of course, you can choose a lower difficulty level of 7 or 11 pieces, or challenge a more difficult one.

What if the cake had handles?
Like a cup, each piece of cake has a chocolate "base" and "handle." Pick up the "handle" and share small pieces of mousse cake with friends without cutting with a knife.
