Making materials:

1. Make handles.
Since everyone has different ideas and requirements, the production materials are also different. As for handles, there are also ready-made or related accessories for sale online. .
I originally planned to make the wheel seat myself, so I bought a piece of small-leaf rosewood for 150 yuan, which is no bigger than the palm of my hand. Halfway through, I felt that it was too difficult and almost impossible to complete, so I had to give up and buy it ready-made. wheel base.
Small leaf red sandalwood is too expensive, so I bought two pieces of rosewood online and spent more than 100. After taking the two handle pieces out, I found that the colors were completely different and looked very awkward. I went to the seller and the seller said that this kind of wood will have color differences. , if you want no color difference, buy ebony wood, so I bought another ebony wood.
1. First, use the wood to carve out the shape of the handle you want on the lathe.
2. Depending on the diameter of your rod embryo, you should use The tool makes a hole.
3. Carve your favorite words or patterns on it.
This is a delicate job and quite troublesome. Especially sandalwood, which is harder than stone and very difficult to work on. I got two blisters on my hands.
I first printed out the pattern with a printer, then rubbed it on top, and then carved it with a carving knife.
After forming, apply white plastic steel glue on it, polish it after it dries, and then perform delicate carving.
Finally, sprinkle the wood chips on top, drop 502 glue on it, and then polish it.
Because I bought a 1.98-meter pole embryo with L-tone cross carbon cloth to the top, and planned to make it into a 2.2-meter pole (I searched all over Baobao and couldn’t find a 2-meter L-tone cross carbon cloth to the top) (pole embryo), so a 20cm section should be added to the handle section. I still use sandalwood.
Use glue to connect. Note, don’t forget to add decorative rings and back plugs.
2. Production of wheel base.
1. According to Depending on the length of your wheel seat, choose the appropriate wheel seat cap.
I originally made it myself from sandalwood, but found it didn’t look very good, so I bought a ready-made one from the Internet because the length was not long enough. I used a lathe to turn another one and used it with the decorative ring. The effect is very good.
2. Apply glue to fix.

Tie the guide ring and wrap the wire .

It is best to use double-sided tape to tie the guide ring before tying it. The position is fixed, and the color of the thread is completely based on your own preference.
Be careful when tying, and press the threads tightly.
4. Overall assembly and upper guide ring glue.
1. Use epoxy resin glue, Assemble the entire fishing rod.
When assembling, pay attention to the overall concentricity of the fishing rod.
2. Apply special glue to the binding line.
Add the glue at a ratio of 1:1, apply it with a special pen, and rotate the fishing rod while applying.
Don't apply it too thickly. You can apply it several times after it dries.
