Production steps
1 pattern printing. Adjust the size of the printed paper pattern and use an awl to make impressions on the leather.
2 Cut along the straight edges, leaving the corners and curves unprocessed. My favorites for straight-edge cutting are a ruler and a utility knife on the second right. Leather of normal thickness can be cut through with just two cuts. The leather trimmer is rarely used recently.
3 handles the changing angles and curve positions. The corner position is processed with three knife methods, and then finely adjusted.

Fazhan punching is basically double-sided punching, but the positions are a little misaligned, which makes it more troublesome to sew later on, and you have to steal needles, so as I said, slow work makes the most of the work. I installed a magnetic buckle before without using a leather pad, but this time I still felt that I couldn’t be lazy and used a leather pad to sew it beautifully and firmly.
10 body stitches. What I did in this step was to glue one straight edge and sew it together. No glue was needed for the corners. After that, I glued the next straight edge and sewed it. Because you have to wait for the glue to dry after applying it, this step takes the longest.
11Detail processing. This last step actually requires the most patience, but if the previous steps are not done well, even doing more in this step will not be able to make up for it. Use a flat-bottomed plane to smooth the bonded edges first, then sand them from coarse to fine with sandpaper, sand them with a wooden stick, apply edge sealing agent, and polish them. Repeat this step of edge banding and polishing several times until the effect is satisfactory.
