Today I would like to introduce to you a very famous model. I wonder if you have heard of the British Virgin Islands. It mainly relies on fishing and tourism. It was developed for tourism, but due to too much fishing land, the local ecology was severely damaged. Later, everyone decided to implement a plan to sink a surviving battleship from World War II to the bottom of the sea to create a beautiful underwater art gallery. It is also a breeding base for various underwater natural creatures, helping local divers to increase their income and revitalize the local economy.
This warship was also one of the warships that survived the Battle of Pearl Harbor. Before it sank to the bottom of the sea, people deliberately placed a giant octopus on the top of the warship. From then on, the octopus and the warship were permanently accompanied by each other on the bottom of the sea. After sinking to the bottom of the sea for several months, the giant octopus and the warship felt very good. They were inseparable every day, and this artificial island has become the best place for divers to take risks.
What I show you here are pictures of this artificial island. You can enjoy them first.
