Do you suspect that the above photo is from some animation? You guessed it wrong! In fact, it is a silhouette photo taken by photographer David A. Reeves using cardboard cutouts at his home!~
The so-called silhouette refers to cutting paper into the outline of the human body. Before shooting, David would first conceive or look for inspiration in comics, then cut out the characters and props required for the scene on black cardboard, and sometimes use cotton to create smoke effects.
Finally, through simple indoor lighting and general silhouette shooting techniques, these interesting photos were obtained, vividly telling us wonderful stories~
