The following describes how to make a document bag by hand. For specific DIY methods, please refer to the graphic tutorial below.
Tools/Materials for Handmade File Bags:
Paper, cardboard, solid glue, scissors, small tacks, string, needle
Handmade document bag steps:
1. Cut the paper into the shape of Figure 1, with a rectangle in the middle and trapezoids around it.
2. Cut out two small circles from the cardboard, and prepare some small tacks and string for later use.
3. Use a needle to poke a small hole in the center of the two small circles, and also poke a small hole in the middle of the trapezoid above the paper.
4. Use small flat-head nails to fix the round cardboard to the paper.
5. Fold the trapezoid on both sides of the paper into the middle, and fold the bottom end inward to form an envelope shape. Then use a small flat-head nail to install another round piece of cardboard in the middle.
6. Tie a string on the bottom of the cardboard. After taking off the upper cover, wrap the string around it to fix it.
