I like butterflies very much, they look beautiful and fly gracefully. If there are not many butterflies next to your residence and you cannot watch them all the time, it is better to make some by hand. A cute and simple design using paper butterflies glued into a heart shape. If you want to make a different design, its very easy, the steps are basically the same??.
This craft took me about two days to complete. All the butterflies were made of cardboard and fixed to the wall with clear tape.
Materials and tools: gradient purple cardboard, ruler, scissors, tape, and pen.
Choose a butterfly pattern and find materials online.
When folding the paper, make sure it is wide enough to fit half of the butterfly.
Make a mark where the width is appropriate and fold the paper along that mark. To ensure a straight line, take your ruler and draw a fold line before folding.
Once you've made the first crease, fold it backwards and over again to create an accordion shape. Fold the other papers in the same way.
Use the butterfly template and draw as many butterflies as possible on the folded paper.
Cut the paper as shown in the picture first, it will be easier to cut the butterfly later.
Fold it in half and cut out the butterfly along the drawn lines.
Butterflies of different colors are cut out from all the papers like this.
Tape the outline of the design to the wall (this is not necessary but will make it easier when attaching the butterfly).
Then stick double-sided tape on the back of the butterfly.
When attaching the butterfly, it is easiest to start from top to bottom. You can peel off the tape and attach the butterfly at the same time. Soon, a beautiful love wall decoration was completed~
