On the exterior wall of the headquarters of Piuarch, an industrial building and architectural design studio in the center of Milan, there are 2,000 roses, oriental lilies, carnations and other aromatic plants such as thyme, sage, lavender and mint. Flowers hang from the ceiling to the floor, becoming the most colorful flower curtain in this year’s Milan Design Week: Flowerprint.
This installation art was jointly created by Piuarch and landscape designer Cornelius Gavril. In such colorful colors and charming fragrance, the blossoming flowers form the most beautiful scenery on the buildings exterior wall, and according to the light and It is constantly changing with changes in temperature. In order to ensure that the flowers can get enough nutrients and prolong their life, the designers also grafted the flowers onto potatoes to make the Flowerprint structure more durable.
