With the advancement of technology, the application of 3D stereoscopic projection technology or holographic projection is becoming more and more common. The most common example is to help deceased singers stand on stage again, allowing fans to feast their eyes on it. Recently, Italian artist Edoardo Tresoldi collaborated with Designlab Experience to construct a huge garden background with silver metal wires at a royal event in Abu Dhabi. Although this is a solid building that exists in real life, it seems that It looks as ethereal and real as a 3D stereoscopic projection!
This installation covers a total area of ??7,000 square meters and took the designer a total of 3 months to complete. A whole row of arches and columns slowly spread out along the edge of the venue. There is also a dome in the center of the venue, suspended in the air. When the white light penetrates it, it looks like a mirage, but it is within reach, which is consistent with the venue. The arrangement of tables and chairs, flowers, plants and trees create a fantasy feeling where virtuality and reality intersect.
Although this installation art will be dismantled after the event, it will be sent to universities, parks, and museums in Abu Dhabi for reinstallation, so that ordinary people who cannot participate in the royal event will also have the opportunity to do so. appreciate.
