How to graft a cactus is a technical job, but as long as you master the basic precautions, people who don't know anything can successfully graft it relatively easily. Disinfect the blade with alcohol, place the blade in the middle of the two edges of the ball, and cut vertically downward a hole about 1.5cm wide and 2cm deep (do not cut on the edge to avoid greater deformation later) . If it has 12 edges, it will be half on one side. If it has 11 or 13 edges, it will have one more edge and one less edge.
Use a sterilized blade to cut both sides of the blade into a duckbill shape (wedge shape). Cut both sides. The length should be no less than 1cm. Harder blades should be cut more. Try to choose flatter blades. blade to avoid making the incision too large after insertion.
This step is the most difficult and critical step, otherwise all your efforts will be in vain: hold the fairy finger or crab in your left hand, hold a sterilized knife in your right hand (because the knife has not been used yet), and pull it out on the incision you just made. Make a slit (insert the knife to the left and right and twist it gently), and quickly insert the fairy finger (this requires the end leaves of the fairy finger to have a certain hardness).
