Many people think that stitching is difficult, but it is not. It is just that the method is not correct. Two simple CAD drawings are used to analyze and compare two commonly used stitching methods.
1. Left This 45-degree angle sewing method is suitable for sewing at right angles. It is more regular and traditional, and sewing at right angles is more coordinated. It can be used with single or double layers of leather. 2. The horse-stitching method on the right is more practical and can be used to sew circles or right angles. Compared with the first method, this horse-stitching method requires more technical skills and requires the use of needle-stealing skills when sewing. Combining the above two stitching techniques, the difficulty of the first one lies in cutting the 45-degree bevel, and the difficulty of the second one lies in the suture. Here we use a 45-degree beveled seam to make a needle insertion, a brief introduction.
Requires 6 preparations A piece of leather, the leather used here is double-sided, with a total thickness of 4.0mm.
Use chop Make light marks
Because you need to cut a 45-degree bevel, you must cut at an inclination angle. You must cut before cutting the bevel, otherwise you will not be able to chop accurately after cutting the bevel.
Follow the above Method, chop the remaining pieces of skin. Do the rest of the work before cutting the bevel.
Use the bevel tool to cut each edge into a 45-degree angle
Apply glue and paste, fill with appropriate amount of cotton.
Paste completed. And correct the sanded edges.
Suture techniques Its relatively simple. Just be careful not to damage the hole shape when inserting the awl through the hole.
