Author: Xiaodiaotang, Tel: 15957380416 At the request of leather friends, what we are doing in this issue is the carving of a feather. In fact, the carving of a feather is not complicated. The printing tools I use here are P206, B198, V715, and SLL. -1. SLL-2, SKA104-1 and a self-made bristle knife. In fact, you should use a special bristle knife tool~ The first step: tracing
Step 2: Cutter line
Step 3: Use P206 to tap on the edge of the feather , but don’t hit the edge, leave a little edge to make it feel warped.
P206 engraving completed The effect doesn't require much skill here, as long as it doesn't hit the edges.
Step 4 , knock on the edge. Here we are using B198. This tool has a gentle slope, and the effect is better when carving such a single object without a background.

The next thing we need to do is V715, which needs to be painted on the sharp corners so that the feathers can separate from the leather in such detailed areas.

The next thing to carve is the texture of the feathers , here we can use SLL-1 and SLL-2. These two tools are divided into left and right, so they need to be used together. Using this tool is the same as when we make leaves. First, it can enrich the details. Second, The first one can create three-dimensional arcs, and the third one can assist in the direction of subsequent tools.
The next step is the brushing knife. Because the leather friend asked the question suddenly, and he couldn't find the brushing knife that had not been used for a long time, so Teacher Xiong Bao made a brushing knife by himself. Instead (Teacher Xiong Bao is really ingenious, haha~) However, the effect of the homemade bristle knife is obviously not refined enough. Let’s just take a look at it. The bristle knife only needs to be brushed in the direction of the SLL-1 and SLL-2 we just used. .

Next we use a utility knife to cut some small places to make them feel furry.
Use a utility knife to cut crosswise from the bottom, and then Use a press to lift the feathers to give them a lighter feel.
Because the tissue of the cowhide has been destroyed after being cut, SKA104-1 was finally used to knock down the background at the bottom of the cut cowhide to reduce the cutting marks and extend to the knocking edge. circle to make it blend into one.
