This article is reproduced from "Araki", the original title is "Handmade Leather Goods - Simple Long Wallet Cloth (Crazy Horse Leather)".
"Araki"s simple long wallet making tutorial takes about 30 hours.
This is the first wallet I made, it is relatively simple. I used 1.5mm crazy horse leather. Because it was relatively thin, I didn’t use an edge trimmer or slot it. I sewed it directly.
Here’s a picture of the troublesome Pikachu. The extremely curious cat will take the tool under the bed. When it gets tired of playing with it, he will change it to another one. I often have to look for the tool under the bed.
Basically cut all parts.
Use an awl to draw a line about 1mm around the opening of the card slot. You can lightly draw the trace first, and then deepen it bit by bit. A soldering iron is used in this position of the other photo album wallet to trace the line. It will be deeper, but this one makes it easier to grasp the direction and is more tidy.
Fill the CMC reagent into the gap with an awl and push it evenly.
The effect is probably like this, it will look more three-dimensional and detailed.
Apply CMC reagent on the open edge for edge sealing, which will make it smoother and more beautiful.
Sand with a sanding stick.
Install the snap buckle on the coin bag. The crazy horse leather I used is relatively thin, so I added a square centimeter of leather lining on the back of the leather on the side of the nipple buckle. Otherwise, the snap buckle will shake. It takes more effort.
Draw edges and punch holes with diamond chop.
Sand the coin bag cover with sandpaper.
Go to CMCReagents.
The effect after edge sealing.
The leather on both sides of the coin purse was lined, because it was too thin and too soft, so I didn’t use a spacer.
Roughly check whether the side leather of the coin bag and the overall fit are appropriate.
Use quick-drying glue to stick the edge to the theme coin bag.
When sewing, pay attention to using even strength with both hands when pulling the thread.
The coin bag and the upper part of the money bag are completed.
Sandpaper trimming.
I used an Italian water-like edge sealing agent on the side of the money bag to prevent CMC from reaching the money bag below.
The upper layer of the money bag is marked with stitching traces.
Approximate effect.
Use quick-drying glue to glue the lower layer of the banknote pocket to the inside of the wallet before sewing them together.
It looks sticky.
Now start the overall installation and sewing of the entire component. First, sew the top layer of the card holder to the wallet lining.
For the second layer of the card package, each layer is pasted first and then punched and sewn.
After sewing the two layers, glue the third layer in place and sew with thread in the middle.
Probably the effect on the inside of the wallet has come out.
Exterior fabric buckle link belt stitching.
Install the Caibu buckle strap.
