Materials and Tools:
Colored leather (half a yard, 1.5 inches is enough), stiff doily, zippers (16 inches long), sewing machine, cutting board, needle and thread, pins.

Cut the leather into two pieces, each 12 x 13 inches.
Use an iron to iron the back of the hard cloth and stick it to the back of the leather.
Place the zipper on the side of the leather where the hardware cloth is attached, align the edges and secure with a pin.
Sew the zipper to the leather in the position fixed by the pin.
