Moscow-based bakery Tortik Annushka continues to create avant-garde cakes inspired by fine art. Owners and siblings Madina Yavorskaya and Rustam Kungurov founded the pastry shop in 2009 to blend their interests in fine art and architecture with handmade sweets. From geometric shapes to metallic decorations, each exquisite cake looks like it belongs in a museum.

Their highly trained team of pastry chefs use quality natural ingredients to ensure their delicious slices of cake continue to wow. While some of their gorgeous pieces resemble abstract architecture, others look like beaded sculptures or even modern paintings.

The pastry shop also collaborates with other artists to create specialty cakes, such as fashion brand Oscar de la Renta. In addition, Tortik Annushka offers regular masterclasses and courses in their store to teach students of all levels “the skills needed to successfully bake their own masterpieces.”
