The first paper-cut hand-made queens garland in this series was inspired by the story in "Love in the Time of Cholera" where the male protagonist customized a lifelong flower crown for the female protagonist. I lived in a remote small county town in Fujian, a beautiful resort surrounded by mountains on one side and bamboo forests on three sides. I stayed there for a week and experienced a taste of life that I had never tasted before. Every time I think about it, I am still fascinated. The third painting expresses the appearance of the jungle in a dream.
