Styling copying is the second step of paper-cutting training after skillfully completing the copying and copying teaching. That is, small prototypes that cannot be made on the copy of the paper-cut pattern are given to the students, and the students are asked to draw the draft according to the small copy.
In this step of teaching training, teachers should pay attention to the following issues:
1. Teaching should be conducted at two levels. The first level is to use the method of enlarging the nine-square grid to train students' modeling accuracy, because although students have some objective understanding of the common sense and characteristics of paper-cutting, it is still difficult for them to pick up a brush and directly draw a "scoop". Difficulty. Using Jiugongge painting to copy the draft, although the speed is a bit slow, the shape and overall accuracy are very high, which will train students' modeling ability more solidly. After such a period of copying and sketching training, students can gradually break away from the constraints of the nine-square grid and directly copy the drafts on white paper. This is the second level of modeling copying teaching. Through these two levels of copying teaching, students' modeling abilities will be further strengthened, and their understanding of the characteristics of paper-cutting will be deeper.
2. Teachers should teach students deeper knowledge of the art of paper-cutting as a whole, letting students know that in terms of paper-cutting shapes, folk paper-cutting focuses on practicality, generality, randomness and other characteristics, while modern paper-cutting focuses on realism and formulas. A piece or a series of paper-cut works are not only required to be similar in form, but also in spirit, that is, they should reflect humanistic temperament, folk customs, literary qualities, and ultimately reflect the overall accomplishment of the creator. On the one hand, this deepens students' understanding of the art of paper-cutting, and on the other hand, it broadens students' horizons.
3. When teachers choose examples to copy, they should not only consider the shape, composition, pattern design and matching of the examples, but also the ideological connotation of the examples. Because folk paper-cutting is an art style created by working people to meet the needs of their own spiritual life, and is applied and spread among themselves. It exists in the deep living soil of workers and is not restricted by utilitarian ideas and value laws. It embodies the most basic aesthetic concepts and spiritual qualities of human art, and has distinctive artistic characteristics and life interest.. Each work contains or contains a touching story. Each work will let the students' souls be baptized by aesthetics, and the students' spirits will be shocked and inspired.
