Funny handmade monster greeting cards are cute cartoon cards specially designed for Father’s Day. Of course, you can also use them for Halloween. Want to say happy holidays to your loving yet strict dad? Use this handmade card to express your love~
Step one: Prepare a piece of white cardboard (size 14cm * 22cm), fold the cardboard in half along the long edge. Then draw a line on the fold, which is where the monsters mouth is. You can draw a high point or a low point, and finally cut along this line.
Step 2: Fold two triangles along the cut line, one facing up and the other facing down.
Step 3: Lay the folded triangle flat, and then unfold the cardboard.
Step 4: Push the triangle down and fold it.
Step 5: Fold the cardstock again (with the triangle inside).
Step 6: Open the cardboard and see the shape of a mouth!
Step 7: Since we are making monster cards, the teeth are of course very big and sharp. Draw a Z-shaped curve and cut along the curve.
Step 8: Draw a monster body around the mouth, add eyes, horns, arms, legs, spots, furry hair or other details you can think of, and then color it with crayons.
Step 9: Choose another piece of colored cardboard as the cover, slightly larger by about 1 cm. Use double-sided tape to stick the monster card into the cover, leaving the mouth unglued.
Step 10: Finally, write a congratulatory message, such as Happy Fathers Day, etc.
Using the same method, children can also make cards of other interesting monsters, use their imagination~
