Tutorial on making cloth animals:
Step 1: First make a model of the shape of the fabric snail. You can adjust the specific size of the fabric snail according to its use. Choose a piece of felt paper about 2mm (the color of the fabric snail shell can be as colorful as you like!), line up and draw the body of the fabric snail and the fabric snail shell part on it, and cut them out. (Including two sheets each for the front and rear sides, the fabric snail body, and the fabric snail shell part)
Step 2: Align the two pieces of felt cloth used as fabric snail shells outwards, back to back, and sew them together around the edges with needles and threads of the same color. Be careful not to sew the connection between the fabric snail shell and the body. While it is used to stuff the cotton wool, it also needs to be connected to the body of the fabric snail!
Step 3: To make the body part of the fabric snail, first prepare small black beads as eyes, and then use black needlework on the face of the fabric snail to sew a window to the soul for the loving little snail - a pair of bright eyes. Gods eyes.
Step 4: After the expression of the fabric snail is completed, also align the two pieces of felt paper for the body part of the fabric snail, and use white needle thread to surround the edges to sew the basic shape of the body of the fabric snail. (Note: The body of the fabric snail also needs to leave a place for stuffing cotton, so don’t sew it first!)
Step 5: Use tweezers to fill the body of the fabric snail with cotton wool through the seams in the body to make the little snail round and look more cute and adorable. After stuffing the cotton, you can immediately seal it with needle and thread, and the small body of the fabric snail is completed.
Step 6: After completing the slender body of the fabric snail, start sewing the large shell of the fabric snail. In the same way, stuff the shell of the fabric snail with cotton with the help of tweezers. Plenty of cotton makes it more comfortable whether its a headrest, waist support, or neck pillow! Then use a needle and thread to arrange the fabric snail shell in the middle of the fabric snails body and sew it on with a needle and thread to completely sew the cute little snail into a complete whole.
