Step 1: Prepare felt papers of different colors to make pumpkin dolls of different colors. A total of 16 crescent-shaped pieces of felt paper are required for each pumpkin. In the midterm, 14 pieces are solid colors and 2 pieces are cut from patterned fabrics. The specific size of the crescent-shaped felt paper is cut according to personal needs.
Step 2: Stack 16 pieces of crescent-shaped fabric two adjacent pieces together, and sew the inside of the crescent shape with needle and thread. Similarly, the outside of the crescent shape is also sewed up with needle and thread. (Note: The two pieces of patterned fabric can be sewn in mid-term)
Step 3: By analogy, sew 16 adjacent pieces of crescent-shaped felt cloth inside and out, and the outline of a lantern-shaped pumpkin doll will appear. When sewing the last crescent-shaped felt paper, be sure to leave an appropriate seam for stuffing the cotton batting!
Step 4: Use tweezers to stuff a full amount of cotton through the slit left in the above steps. Make the pumpkin doll more chubby and look more cute and adorable.
Step 5: After completing the main part of the pumpkin that looks like a lantern, cut two pieces of felt paper that look like pumpkin handles on the felt paper. Then sew around the edges with needle thread, leaving one side intact. Then use the remaining side to stuff in a small amount of cotton to make the pumpkin doll bulge out.
Step 6: When the primary and secondary parts of the pumpkin are completed, sew the prepared pumpkin handle on the top center of the pumpkin doll. In this way, the whole pumpkin doll is completed.
