Step 1: 1. Any loose old T-shirt, preferably one without large patterns or letters.
2. Scissors.
3. Sewing machine (or manual sewing machine)
4. Pins.
5. Elastic band (about 1.5 meters)
1. Measure the size of your chest.
2. Cut the elastic band to fit your chest size.
3. Turn the T-shirt inside outCome on, cut a small piece off the bottom welt.
4. Secure the bottom of the elastic band with a pin, and insert a needle into the cut opening.
5. Thread the elastic band along the welt.
6. Sew the two ends of the elastic band together.
7. Turn the T-shirt right side out.
1. Use some pins to secure the cloth.
2. Cut off the excess fabric so that it ends up being flat on the top of the T-shirt. Make sure you trim off the excess collar.
3. Use some pins to pin the sleeves of the T-shirt to the front of the dress. 4. Use a sewing machine to sew up the gaps in the collar.
2. Sew the sleeves close to the opening of the T-shirt and turn the front of the T-shirt inside out.
3. Cut two small slits from the welt of one sleeve on the inner part: when folded over, the slits need to be at the bottom of the sleeve.
4. Cut a piece of elastic band, but the elastic band is shorter than the width of the cuff.
5.With the help of pins, thread the elastic through the welt of the sleeve and sew through the bottom end of the elastic.
6. The other sleeve is also the same. 7. Now you are ready to sew the sleeves onto the T-shirt.
Step 5: Basically, you wear your old T-shirt upside down, and depending on the size of your T-shirt, your masterpiece will look like a tube top skirt.
The outer pockets are conveniently placed at the lower end of the skirt. You can also make them into an inner pocket according to your preference.
