DIY T-shirt tote bag without hand sewing. If you have an old T-shirt you don’t want, you can follow the tutorial and it can be completed in about 20 minutes. This craft is pretty simple and can even be done with the kids!~
Materials and tools: old T-shirt, scissors, colored tape, ruler or tape measure (optional).
For an even cut, fold the T-shirt in half.
Cut off both sleeves.
Then cut off the neckline. It is recommended to cut it into a slightly oval shape instead of a circle. Make sure the back and front of the T-shirt are aligned and cut to the same depth. This step is used to complete the straps of the tote bag.
Turn the T-shirt inside out. Determine how deep you want the tote to be and apply tape horizontally, with the bottom of the tape being where the bag ends.
Cut the bottom of the T-shirt upward to where the tape is attached, and cut at equal intervals.
Then tie the upper and lower layers of cloth together.
Remove the tape and turn the bag inside out.
Finish the bag by tying a knot at the handle section, or tieSome scrap fabrics tied together as decoration~
