A beautiful ring made from an antique spoon. I saw a few pieces of jewelry made from cutlery at a craft and jewelry show and liked them so much that I decided to make one myself.
Its easy to do, just spend a little time and you'll get a unique ring!~
You will need to prepare:
Silver tea spoon
Jewelry pliers
Rubber hammer
Handsaw
Bench vise
1. First buy a teaspoon. Pick carefully, it should be silver (not stainless steel as this is easier to bend and mold) and have a vintage pattern.
2. Place the spoon into a vise, clamp, and saw off the top of the spoon so you can access the handle.
3. Now take out a pipe about the same thickness as your finger, place it in a vise and secure it.
Place the handle of the spoon onto the tube, then use pliers and a hammer to mold the handle into the shape of a finger ring.
4. That’s all you need to do to make this ring, pick out the spoon, saw out the handle, and bend it!
Of course, we also need to polish the sawed surface in the end to avoid scratching our fingers~
