What should I do if the glass is broken? Well...if it is broken beautifully, there is no harm in keeping it!
Barcelona artist Pejac recently completed a number of new works at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka, Croatia. Among them, the most impressive one is probably the broken glass work in an abandoned power plant!
Rijeka painted a silhouette of a boy holding a slingshot on the glass, while the broken glass on the side was a flock of birds that were frightened and "flyed". An uninformed person might look up and think that there is a naughty little boy about to launch a slingshot!
Pejac named this work "Camouflage" (Camouflage), and used this work to pay tribute to the artist René Magritte and his famous bird silhouettes.
Although Magrittes bird silhouettes soar with the sky as the background, they look much more leisurely and at ease. In comparison, the birds in Pejacs works are much more frightened. Little do they know that these birds are unfathomable pretenders. , disguised the broken glass and successfully shifted everyone’s focus!
