(You can take a look at the creative process shared by Deledda)
In the hands of sculptor Noah Deledda, cans that are recycled after drinking and use are no longer materials to be recycled, but unique works of art.
He used his fingers and fingernails to press intricate geometric shapes on the surface of the originally flat cylindrical tank. The regular and symmetrical beauty makes people forget that this is actually a piece of trash that should be thrown away.
Through sculpture, Deledda hopes to create a sense of uniqueness among the mundane items in daily life, that is, items that can be thrown away.
These seemingly random techniques such as grabbing, concaving, and folding have also been redefined after being modified by art.
If you happen to have a few cans on hand, you might as well take a look.
Although it is difficult to reach such a height, it does not prevent us from having a new understanding of cans. Creativity has endless possibilities~
