The following is an introduction to how to make a small DIY craft chair from discarded cans. The materials used for production are cans, glue, tape, etc.; you must prepare scissors before DIY. For specific DIY methods, please refer to the tutorial below. Once you’re done, don’t forget to share this DIY craft chair made from a can with your family and friends. This is an authentic handmade work!
Use scissors to cut off the top of the can, and then cut the remaining part into strips with a width of about 3 mm.
Divide the cut parts into four equal parts and tie them into four symmetrical bundles. The excess parts in the four equal parts will be used as the chair flower in the front and the backrest in the back.
Roll up the four bunches into small rolls as chair legs according to your preference. Unbundle the middle part of two of the chair legs and roll them up into patterns of different heights.
The next three sides are not rolled. We fold it directly to the opposite side to make the chair back. The method is the same as the legs. You need to roll it according to your needs and desired effect.
Note: If it is made into a high backrest, the height of the strip may not be enough, so we have to use another can to cut into strips of the same width for insertion, and the effect will be better.
After everything is completed, you need to cut a piece of cardboard into a round shape the size of the bottom of a can, and then paint it with your favorite pattern and color to use as the chair surface.
The following will show you the finished effect of the can craft chair. See if you like it very much. Then try it yourself. You can use cans of different colors to make various small crafts.
