I always want to add some decoration to my home, preferably without spending too much money. One day, I saw a beautiful candle holder, and after racking my brains, I finally made it at almost no money, using only Coke cans!
Doesn’t it look gorgeous? It could even be given as a gift to friends or family. All you need to do is collect the cans after drinking the Coke!~
You will need:
Coke can
Graving knife
Scissors
Marker
Hot glue gun
Golden spray paint
Plastic gloves
1. Use a carving knife to cut the top of the can andPunch a hole on the bottom edge, then insert scissors into the hole and cut.
Cut off the top and bottom of the can, we mainly use the middle part. Use scissors to straighten any sharp edges. Save the bottom of the can for later use.
2. Find a piece of cardboard, draw a petal template on it, and cut it out. Place the template onto the tin to mark the outline and cut out the petals.
3. If you are worried about the edges of the final piece being too sharp, choose a petal template with blunt edges instead of a sharp template like mine.
4. Place the petal template on the tin petals, staggering a little. Draw the edges of the template, and then fold the tin piece slightly to create a three-dimensional effect.
5. Use a hot glue gun to stick the petals to the bottom of the can. you canGlue the petals in as many layers as you like. I used 6 petals per layer and made 3 layers.
6. Place the finished flowers on old cardboard boxes or newspapers and prepare for spraying. Spray paint in the color of your choice, preferably outdoors.
7. After the spray paint is dry, put in the candle and light it, and enjoy your beautiful lotus candle holder~
