A shining star hanging, you can think of it as the brightest star at night, or it can be a Christmas star hung together with Christmas balls, Christmas stockings, etc. In the following manual tutorial on waste recycling, I will share with you how to make this star using cans. Friends, are you a little cautious about this decoration that doesn’t cost a penny? Prepare the materials and tools and follow the diagram below to give it a try step by step!~
Materials and tools: cans, wire, scissors, knives, needle-nose pliers, markers, round cups, super glue, etc.
1. First cut off the top and bottom of the can to get a rectangular aluminum sheet. Use the edge of the book to pull it back and forth to smooth it out.
2. Place a glass cup on the aluminum sheet and draw a circle. We are going to cut out two circular pieces of aluminum.
3. Take one of the round pieces, fold the red one outward, then open it, rotate it 90 degrees and then fold it in half.
4. After unfolding, get the cross crease.
5. Fold it in half twice again to get eight equal lines, as shown above.
6. Use the back of a knife to press the crease to make an obvious valley line.
7. The other round piece is also processed in the same way.
8. Mark the length of 1cm on the front end of the scissors.
9. Cut a 1cm long opening on the valley line of the aluminum sheet.
10. With the peak line as the center, bend the aluminum sheets cut on both sides inwards to obtain sharp corners.
11. Each corner is obtained in this way, a total of 8 corners.
12. Take out the iron wire and twist a section into a ring shape.
13. Use strong glue to stick the iron wire on the two symmetrical corners, as shown in the picture.
14. Make another aluminum piece into a star shape, and then use scissors to cut the small triangle pieces on both sides of the sharp corners into semicircles.
15. Wrap it around the outside of the half star with wire glued on it.
16. Press the aluminum sheet firmly to wrap it tightly.
17. After pressing each sharp corner, this beautiful three-dimensional star is ready.
18. Cut off the excess part of the wire, and then you can hang it~
