Making homemade Easter cards is a fun and easy thing for kids to do. Pop-up greeting cards are especially fun for kids, so today we're sharing How to make a pop-up Easter card.
This handmade Easter card features a pop-up Easter Bunny and some adorable Easter eggs. Kids of all ages and even adults will love learning how to make this easy pop-up Easter card. If you are a little wary, just follow the illustrated steps below!~
Materials and tools: Green, blue paper, white cardboard, other colors of cardboard, markers, scissors, glue sticks.
Step 1: Start by making the pop-up card. Fold a piece of green cardboard in half. Then cut two slits about 1 inch long in the center, about 1 inch apart, along the folded edge of the card.
Step 2: Fold down along the cut slit. Carefully open the green cardstock again and turn the folded piece of paper over so that it stands upright in the crease to create a pop-up effect on the inside of the cardstock.
Step 3: Create a sky background for the card. To do this, on the blue paperCut off about a third of the wavy line. Use a glue stick to glue the blue sky on top of the pop-up card.
Step 4:Cut out rabbits, Easter eggs, etc. on patterned cardboard.
Step 5: Use markers (or crayons) to color the bunnys face and ears. Then, decorate each Easter egg with markers.
Step 6: Fold each grass section in half along the dotted line of the template. Then use scissors to cut slits along the edge on one side to create grass blades.
Step 7: Glue an unwrinkled piece of grass to the bottom of the bunny.
Step 8: Add glue to the pop-up part of the card and attach the bunny to the card. Then add glue to the bottom of each turf section and attach them to your card.
Step 9: Attach Easter eggs to different areas of grass on the pop-up card.
Step 10:To fold the card, press each folded turf section with one hand and close the card with the other hand.
