Paper sculpture, also known as paper relief, originated in the Han Dynasty of China. In the mid-18th century, a group of artists in Europe brought new life to the art of paper sculpture. After that, the genres of paper sculpture began to become clear. Currently, there are three mainstream paper sculpture schools: Cubism, Experimentalism and Engraving Paper Sculpture.
What I share with you below is a set of wonderful paper sculptures created by Jeff Nishinaka. This is truly "jumping on paper"!
