The Compound is located in the Jewelery Quarter of Birmingham. Stuart Holt bought it in 2012. Sunlight shines from the 35-meter-high ceiling, lighting up the entire interior space, while factory lights, steel-framed glass walls , metal fence walkways and exposed ceiling beams tell the story of the textile factorys past. But the interior furnishings are more than that. For example, under a copper lamp borrowed from a retired submarine, there is a door recovered from a prison. In addition, there are many artworks made by local craftsmen.
