The fantastic and beautiful wire architectural art that looks like a mirage

Edoardo Tresoldi from Italy is good at using wire as material to create installation art, and most of his works are based on portraits of people. In recent years, various buildings have also begun to be used as themes.

His latest work is a spectacular wire building ‘Baroque’ that appeared at the EAUX CLAIRES MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL 2016, which is held annually.

The appearance of ‘Baroque’, constructed with dense iron wires, is like a sketch of a building sketched with lines in the landscape. It looks illusive and magnificent, taking your breath away.

‘Baroque’ was also exhibited as a performance stage at the two-day EAUX CLAIRES MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL held in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA.

This event, jointly launched by musicians Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) and Aaron & Bryce Dessner (The National), is held in August every year. The illuminated ‘Baroque’ takes on a different look at night, adding a lot of color to the event.

British organist James Mcvinnie and British organist Griffin Mcmaho will take turns performing at the ‘Baroque’.

Measuring 20 x 20 x 16 feet in length, width and height, ‘Baroque’ has a translucent appearance that is as ethereal as a mirage and disappears at any moment.

Wire art like painting in a real landscape, showing stunning beauty and grandeur, although it looks very imposing, but at the same time, just like its virtual and solid appearance, it is actually very fragile. The ‘Baroque’ work will also be placed in Okere after the event as a permanent art installation in the town.
