During the first decade of the 20th century, Armstrong was the supplier of cork chips to all linoleum flooring factories in the United States. In 1998, Armstrong successfully acquired three of the top five flooring brands in the United States, including Bruce, Hartco and Robbins. It became the worlds largest flooring manufacturer. In the United States, Armstrong wood flooring is almost a household name. It has been ranked first for many years in various evaluations by the American professional flooring media "FLOOR FOCUS" in terms of popularity, acceptance, and overall quality reputation.
