At this years Interior Design Show in Toronto, Canada, Stéphane Leathead, creative director and designer of the furniture design brand Designarium, handed over her first work - the Exocet Chair. Exocet means flying fish in French, so we can see that the Exocet Chair is based on fish as its prototype, using natural logs to draw elegant and smooth curves, just like the fish swimming leisurely in the sea.
Of course, the Exocet Chair is not just a chair that looks like a fish. The designer uses the "fish head" as the center of the lever, and can fold the tail to any angle you want, or stand up one side of the tail to become a high chair. Put it on your back and put a cushion on it to become a leisure chair for drinking tea and reading a book; or you can do a difficult 180-degree "Tail", lying on the ground, and one person sits on one side, not disturbing each other but accompanying each other; or it can be flipped into a chair for drinking tea and reading. The Exocet Chair is a chair, but it is not just a chair.
The Exocet Chair has started to be sold in limited quantities. When you hear the word "limited quantity", the price must be not cheap. However, those who are interested can still visit the Toronto Interior Design Exhibition, which runs from 1/22 to 1/25. .
