Do you still remember the kindergarten you went to when you were a child? Or what kind of kindergarten your current baby or your future child will attend?
The design team baukind has just completed the design of a daycare center. The designer used a natural material to create a natural scenery, making the children here feel like they are exploring a small forest every day.
The irregular-shaped carpet on the ground is like a swamp in a wetland. The branches erected in the activity space can be climbed by children. Even indoors, it provides unlimited possibilities for childrens imagination. Looking back on my childhood impression, it was probably only All thats left is the plastic elephant slide, or some other artificial object made of plastic. In my memory, I only have the texture of plastic.
A child with a full and lively imagination will leave a lifelong impression on the things they touch. The kind of memory that is transformed from the five senses into the heart is particularly profound. "Education of touch and creation of imagination" has been implemented abroad. For a while, you can imagine that German children have been playing in such an environment full of different natural materials since they were young. When they grow up, they will have more imagination and respect for the things around them, and even be able to discover what is hidden in nature. Beauty in anything.
In these spaces, we also imitated some different environments such as hills, swamps, and caves. Through simple steps, we put some effort into increasing the childrens sense of participation and leaving them with good childhood memories.
