When Jiang Gong saw fish swimming upstream by the river, he realized that people should work hard and persevere despite difficulties to achieve success. Greg Klassen, a furniture designer from Washington, USA, was looking at his hometown. When looking at the view of the Pacific Ocean, he was deeply fascinated by the beauty. Suddenly, he had an idea and decided to incorporate the magnificent river view into his furniture.
So he began to search for driftwood by the stream, and collected useless logs from sawmills he was familiar with. He used the original natural lines on the wood combined with handmade blue glass to create logs with beautiful rivers. Table~
Carefully, he cut the collected logs along the lines, then cut blue-green glass representing the river according to the edges, and embedded it into the wood. A realistic winding river will appear on your table. !!
In addition to the river table, there is also a lake table~
The similarity with the land surface map is as high as 90%!!! (Editor: It’s really amazing~)
The originally abandoned driftwood was transformed into a unique river table through Gregs skillful hands. All I can say is that my talents must be useful XD
This river table makes you want to make tea on it~
Greg gives new life to discarded wood, and the driftwood that was originally neglected instantly becomes a beautiful and unique piece of art, arousing peoples desire to collect it.
