The exploration of unknown space has always been one of the themes in todays human world. The vast, vast and boundless space fascinates mankind. Likewise, many design companies have always been keen to integrate space style into their designs. . Recently, the French design company Woodlabo has introduced a brand new Apollo 8 Conical Light chandelier, which is inspired by the Apollo lunar module.
Woodlabo this time focused on the achievements of NASA in the 1960s, and also transplanted the rigorous design for space travel into the setting of the wooden lighting system. “Meet the challenge, implement the highest standards, insist on innovation and perseverance” – this is how Woodlabo describes it. This beautiful chandelier combines 12 tapered branches and is inspired by the 1968 Apollo 8 lunar module. The frame is mainly made of beech and oak with gray finish, supplemented by ceramic lamp holders and white thermal-coated steel plate ceilings. The whole is full of strange and whimsical moon landing style.
