With the improvement of living standards, flower arrangements have become a common accessory at home. This article will introduce you to the techniques of flower arrangement in small vase and teach you how to arrange flowers in small vases. Those who have never had flower arrangement experience can also create beautiful flower arrangements. , action is worse than heartbeat.
Method/Steps
- 1Use a knife to remove the thorns on the flowers. Put off any leaves that are below the water level of the vase. Leaves tend to rot in water, causing flowers to wilt and making the water smelly.
- 2Prepare the vase. The vase must be clean. Fill a vase with clean water and add a small dollop of household bleach to make the water clear and fresh. This trick may not sound like it will work but it actually works.
- 3Wrap the vase. In this article we are using Phyllanthus leaves. You can also use any long leaves.
- 4Remove the rhizomes. Flowers should be 6cm above the vase or half the height of the vase. This will ensure that the flowers float above the mouth of the vase.
- 5Cut the rhizome at an angle. This allows the top of the flower to absorb as much water as possible.
- For flowers with woody stems, such as roses, tear the rhizome about 2cm upward from the middle.
- 6Place flowers. Put the flowers into the vase, making sure they are all the same height and evenly spaced.
- Using upland grass, insert one end of the grass near the edge of the vase and the other end around the bouquet to form a circle of grass.
- Insert the other end into the edge of the vase.
- Repeat the above steps four times to give the flower arrangement a unique style.
Tips
- Flowers and pebbles can be used to secure flowers to the bottom of the vase.
- Even children can arrange flowers in short vases and learn some basic and simple flower arrangement skills. Encourage them to be creative and let them come up with different placements of their own.
- Adding aspirin to the water can also help the flowers last longer.
- Putting some sugar in the water can add glucose to the flowers and increase the effectiveness of chlorine bleach.
Notes
- Be careful not to cut off too many leaves—only those that will sit in the water.
- Avoid cutting flower stems too short.
