Want to set up a studio at home? In addition to readily available furniture such as tables and chairs, you may also need to decorate the walls. And you don’t need to hire someone else to do this. Just follow the DIY diagram below and you can easily make a golden line pattern on the wall to perfectly match your studio style!~
Materials and tools: paper knife, wall paint, painters tape, ruler, rope, weights.
1. Use painter’s tape to tape the cross lines on the wall of your desk.
We used two different kinds of tape: first, the blue tape in whatever direction we wanted, then the off-white tape over the space where we wanted to paint, and then another piece of blue tape Place in parallel.
After applying all three tapes, we removed the middle tape and we had a straight line ready to be painted.
2. Tying a string to a heavy object (here a small stone) is very useful for getting a straight line.
3.Wherever the two lines cross each other and the tape needs to be removed, use a cutting knife and a ruler.
4. It is easy to paint the empty space in the middle gold.
5. We do not post all rows at once. First, lets draw a few, then step back and see if the overall pattern is balanced.
6. After the walls are transformed, the next step is the table. The same gold paint is used to paint the IKEA table legs, pairing them with a simple white surface.
7. New curtains, new chairs, a few decorations, and hand-made wall decorations, your home office is complete~
