There were a few cork wall stickers left over from the home renovation, so I used them to transform the old picture frames at home. The final effect is not bad, it has a simple, rough and "clumsy" beauty.
Main materials:
Wall decorations, basic cork stickers, and log photo frames
Tools required:
Scissors, glue
Production steps:
Step 1:
The cork stickers used are made of this material. You can put them on a wall at home to display photos or your babys paintings.
Step 2:
The photo frame was bought at a wholesale market and was very cheap.
Step 3:
Use scissors to cut the cork stickers into small square pieces, the size will depend on your photo frame.
Step 4:
It is not necessary for each piece to be the same size or very uniform, so that the uneven effect will be more natural. You can first place the cut cork pieces on the photo frame, adjust the overall position and then paste them.
Step 5:
I used 502 glue. It is recommended to polish the surface of the photo frame with sandpaper before pasting it, which will make it stronger. Little Z was not sanded, and the cork pieces would fall off easily afterwards.
Step 6:
After pasting, it is best to lay the photo frame flat with the cork side down, press it with a heavy object, and put it upright after 20 minutes.
Step 7:
I used it on the reception desk at the wedding. It’s very unique, isn’t it?
Tips:
1. In order to unify the style, it is best to choose a basic wooden frame when choosing a photo frame. 2. Use a file or sandpaper to polish the area where the cork is to be pasted (for the sake of beauty, do not polish the original wood position in the modified photo frame so that it can be exposed, just polish the area to be pasted), and then the adhesive will be smoother. Be firmer.
