1. Lay the wooden pallet on its side as shown and use an electric drill to create drainage holes. Drill a hole for each row as many rows of seedlings as the tray will accommodate.

Punch the pallet to shake off any wood chips, then sand the edges.

2. Wash the tray thoroughly with soap and warm water to make it look like new again. Then carefully apply oil-based wood glue to the surface to prevent future water seepage, and allow to dry.

Paint the pallet - preferably a soft light color as it will provide a nice contrast to the color of the greenery. likeIf you are growing a flowering plant, consider using the color of the plants petals. Once dry, use chalkboard paint to create an eye-catching label where you can fill in the plant species.

3. Introduce the planting substrate, and the bottom layer can be spread with large granular substrate, such as ceramsite, and then plant your favorite flowers and plants, preferably herbaceous plants, mint and other rough-growing plants are a good choice. Then cover with a layer of decorative gravel or pebbles.

Please be sure to leave some space for the plants to grow later.

Use chalk to write the name of the plant on the label and you're done.
