Nature always attracts everyone, and I am also a lover of nature. So I tried to make a small glass landscape for the room, hiding the mountains and rivers in it, and adding original moss/plants, etc., to make it look real!~
Materials and tools: glass container, plaster, carving knife, paint, epoxy resin, aluminum foil, foam brush, PVA glue, branches, moss, soft cloth, cement, etc.
This time I tried to make rocks with a mixture of water and gypsum.
Take a piece of aluminum foil and fold or press it to make a mold.
It is then filled with a mixture of plaster and water.
Let it dry.
Remove from aluminum foil.
The more irregular the better, it will be more natural.
Place it in a glass container and see if it fits.
Then use a carving knife to make a simple sculpture.
Create a texture effect as shown in the picture.
Make another piece in the same way.
When coloring I chose black, brown and yellow ocher.
Take 1 part color and 16 parts water, mix well, and brush onto the rocks with a foam brush.
First paint two colors.
Then dry.
After drying apply cement on the rock, now use black paint and let dry.
Apply cement again.
Now glue the rock into the terrarium.
Fix it with plaster.
After setting the rock, dip a soft cloth into the plaster.
Then take a soft cloth and smear both sides of the rock.
Let it dry.
Then use a dry cloth dipped in all the above colors and apply it on top of the plaster.
To make trees, snip some bushes and cut them into the necessary shapes.
Now cover these bushes with dry moss.
This is what it looks like when finished.
Make trees.
Wrap some cotton around the branches and make them green.
Use cardboard to make a boat. Make the bottom and strips first.
Paste the long strip around the bottom of the boat and the boat is complete.
Paint with colored pencils to create wooden tones.
To create the fog effect, apply PVA glue to the tape.
Adhere to the inner wall of the glass container mouth.
Take a small amount of epoxy resin and add blue pigment and glitter.
Requires many thin layers of clear and blue epoxy to be applied to the glass.
Do not fill immediately as the heat generated by the epoxy can damage the glass container.
After drying, the epoxy is coated with silicone sealant to create waves.
Place the boat in it.
As shown in the picture after completion.
Looking down at the lake.
You can almost hear the sound of the waterfall lapping the water.
Trees and plants on the cliff.
Are you reluctant to give away such a beautiful glass landscape decoration?
